What is Props?

Props is Finland’s most versatile and fun rewards service, where you can collect Props daily through purchases and various fun and interesting tasks. You can use your Props to shop with well-known companies by exchanging them for gift cards.

You can access Props both via a browser and a mobile app.


How do I create a Props account?

Joining Props is quick and easy!

  • Download the Props app from the App Store or Google Play. You can also use Props via a browser at web.propspoints.com.

  • Register, and if you wish, link your bank or credit card using strong authentication.

  • If you have a referral code, remember to enter it during registration.


What if I forget my password?


If you forget your password, you can reset it during login by selecting “Forgot Password?”

  • Enter your email address, and we will send you a link to reset your password.


Having trouble logging in?

  • Make sure that you are using the same email address you used to create your Props account.

  • If resetting your password doesn’t help, contact us at support@propspoints.com.


How do I collect Props?


  • You can earn Props by making purchases with Props partners or completing fun tasks in the app (e.g., inviting a friend earns you 1,000 Props).

  • If you’ve linked your payment card to Props, you’ll automatically earn Props for every purchase!

  • Transactions will appear in the app, and by collecting, you could earn up to 100,000 Props from a single purchase.


Why did I earn more Props from a small purchase than from a large grocery purchase?


  • The amount of Props isn’t based on the purchase amount but is determined randomly per transaction, like in a lottery. The algorithm allocates Props randomly for each purchase.


Why should I link my payment card to Props?


  • By linking your card to Props, you’ll earn Props automatically for all purchases, with Props for purchases made with Props partners.

  • The card linking process is fully automatic and uses strong authentication for security.


Is it safe to link my card to Props?

  • Yes, it is safe. Card linking is secured through your bank’s strong authentication, ensuring that only you can authorize the connection.

  • Your bank creates an encrypted token to identify purchases made with your linked card.


Is my purchase data shared with Props?


  • Your bank does not share purchase data directly with Props. The data is securely transmitted via Enable Banking, a licensed account information service provider regulated by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority.

  • Enable Banking sends encrypted data to Props, which uses it to credit the appropriate number of Props. We don’t know what you bought—only you do.


How are my card details handled?


  • When you link your card to Props, your details are encrypted in accordance with the PSD2 directive, using strong authentication and a token created by your bank. The token replaces your card details with a meaningless identifier.


Do you store my linked card details?


  • We never store identifiable card information. Your card data is encrypted using a token generated by your bank, and we do not store the CVV code.

  • The only details we retain are the last 4 digits and the expiration date to ensure the correct card is displayed in the app and to notify you when it expires.


Why does the card link need to be renewed?


  • Under EU law, the card link is valid for a maximum of 6 months, after which it must be renewed according to the PSD2 directive.


Do you sell my data?


  • We never sell or share your personal data with third parties!


Why haven’t I received Props for my purchases?


  • Have you linked all your payment methods? Make sure both your Credit and Debit cards are linked.

  • Have you collected your Props on time? Props must be collected from the Action Hub within 72 hours; otherwise, they will disappear.

  • Is the merchant recognized in the system? Props are only awarded for purchases from merchants identified in our system. If a merchant isn’t listed, we will add it as soon as possible.

  • Boosted Props deals may appear as "under review." Props are awarded after the partner confirms the transaction. If you don’t see your purchase listed, send the order confirmation to support@propspoints.com.


Why haven’t I received referral Props, even though my friend has earned 1,000 Props?


  • You’ll receive your referral Props only when your friend earns 1,000 Props (the initial 1,000-point sign-up bonus doesn’t count).


Do Props expire?


  • Yes, Props are valid for 12 months.


I redeemed a gift card, but it disappeared, and the Props were deducted from my account.

  • Redeemed gift cards can be found in the app:

    1. Open the Props app.

    2. Tap “Benefits” at the bottom.

    3. Search for the gift card by name, e.g., “Stadium,” and select it.

    4. Go to “Used Coupons”, where you’ll find the redeemed code.


Why doesn’t the gift card work?


  • Remember, this is a gift card, not a discount code. In most online stores, gift card details must be entered during the payment method selection.


How do I close my account?


  • If Props isn’t right for you, you can delete your account in the Account tab under Support by selecting “Delete Account” or contact support@propspoints.com
